The NDIS Accounts Assistant is responsible for facilitating financial processes within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework. Key duties include billing and invoicing, claims management, financial recordkeeping, participant support, and ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Generate and process NDIS service invoices, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines.
- Processing of fortnightly Payroll using Xero
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare, submit, and monitor NDIS claims for reimbursement, resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and generate reports.
- Stay updated on NDIS policies, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively on financial updates and challenges.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field mandatory.
- Familiarity with NDIS guidelines.
- Experience in financial recordkeeping and accounting practices.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in using accounting software, Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High integrity and respect for confidentiality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
