**Your new role**
We are seeking a
**Finance Officer** who has a passion and commitment to supporting the needs of people with a disability and will bring a ‘hands on’ professional approach to their role. You will be someone who is keen to work at all levels, including undertaking the day to day administration and financial duties of the organisation.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Working daily in software platforms such as Xero accounting, Lumary and Share Point.
- Ensure all accounting data entries are promptly recorded into the system with high accuracy of entries and within a timely manner.
- Escalation of unusual data that requires attention within the Finance team.
- Verifying and cross referencing invoices ensuring communication between teams both within the organisation and external parties.
- Using your attention to detail skills, you will create and amend Service Agreements and follow up incomplete billings.
- Managing and assign vehicles within the company car program. This includes assisting in submission of fringe benefit tax papers.
- Reconciling collections and payments in the Xero accounting system, including month end reconciliation tasks in an agreed timely manner.
- Supporting Finance Senior and Finance Partner in prompt monthly account closing.
- Collection of outstanding invoices arising from services provided to our participants.
- At times, this position requires to do some light administration tasks which including posting of documents, photocopying, co-ordinating office purchases for Finance team, etc.
**What you’ll need**
- Diploma Qualification in Finance or Accounting
- Ability to use Xero accounting system, Lumary system and Share Point with high proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet legislative, statutory and contractual obligations
- Highly developed organisational and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
- A commitment to supporting the needs of people with a disability
- Must be a ‘hands on’ team member who is keen to work at all levels, including undertaking the day to day administration and financial duties.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with commitment and dedication.
