NUV Petroleum is a multi-site operator with over 50 locations across Australia, mainly focused on delivering quality fuel and customer services with high quality standards.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Working under the Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the wider finance team and collaborating with them to work on various accounting projects
- Performing reconciliation of accounts and preparing profit & loss consolidation statements
- Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods
- Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
- Various Ad Hoc duties as required by the business

Degrees in the following industries will be given preference:

- Accounting/Finance
- Economics/Mathematics

Desired skills include:

- The ability to produce accurate financial reports
- Excellent attention to detail
- Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed
- The ability to work to strict time constraints
- An organized and methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software

On the job training will be provided, previous experience preferred but not essential.

This job is based at our Head Office in South Yarra, VIC. It is a full time position with working hours 9 AM to 5 PM weekdays.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
