**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate, and provide oversight to buildings, plant, and equipment maintenance and minor works ensuring assessment of the quality and adequacy of planned and completed maintenance works.
- Manage the oversight and compliance of contracts and associated contractors across all sites.
- Manage the monitoring of building management systems and related alarms and alerts, and facilitate first response capacity for buildings, plant and equipment systems.
- Build and develop effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in order to maintain staff and client expectations of the Facility and Asset Management program.
- Manage maintenance services by monitoring and reporting on maintenance related trends and performance against work programs, project plans and budgets.

**Role Fit**:
The essential requirements for this role are
- Demonstrated extensive experience in managing and delivering asset and facility management programs in a large and complex organisation.
- Proven ability to adopt a whole-of-system approach in successfully leading, influencing, and driving change across varying business units to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ability to influence others to drive strong facility and asset management.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of asset management life cycle including demonstrated experience in managing detailed asset planning, governance, maintenance, reporting and compliance.
- Experience in management contracts and contractors for optimal outcomes for the business and driving high levels of compliance.
- Demonstrated highly developed leadership skills in creating and maintaining effective teams and driving performance.
- Proven experience working in challenging and dynamic operating environments and demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality outcomes with tight timeframes.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex environment.

**Qualifications registrations and other requirement's**:
There are no mandatory qualifications required for appointment to this position, but possession of trade, professional or tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas will be favourably regarded.
