**About the division**

Investor Relations is an integral part of the Group Office of AMP. With a large investor base of both retail and institutional shareholders, domestically and abroad, the Investor Relations team plays a key role in representing AMP to the market. Investor Relations can also provide unique insights for internal stakeholders that can have a meaningful and lasting impact.

**About the role**

In this role you will be a liaison relationship between AMP senior management and the investment community (research analysts, shareholders and potential investors). You will also be identifying key shareholder issues affecting AMP’s rating in the market and using best practice disclosures to ensure AMP is well understood and its market valuation is appropriately reflected.

**How will you make an impact**
- Assist with the development and ongoing updates of the investor presentation and other external materials.
- Play a key role in the preparation of quality and timely communication collateral for investors including all back up material and Q&As to support the half and full year results.
- Coordination of market facing communication activity, responding to investor / analyst queries, attend investor meetings when required and proactively analyse and manage discussions on specific issues.
- Preparation and delivery of investor events and projects aimed at influencing investor decisions (investor day etc.)
- Analyse broker reports and update consensus on a timely basis.
- Analyse monthly shareholder register composition and support in developing investor targeting plan

**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience in investor relations, or business analysis, planning and reporting, financial communications or other relevant financial services experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, economics, finance or equivalent
- Understanding of investment markets, valuation, accounting and financial analysis
- Excellent strategic and commercial acumen with a creative approach to problem solving
- MS Excel based financial modelling capabilities and strong PowerPoint / presentation skills.
