We seek an ambitious and enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to provide logístical and import execution support to one of the world’s leading Almond Trading Teams. The role includes management of order process, stock movement and relevant documentation for domestic almonds and imports.
- Key Accounts Support: Respond to requests for information from our key accounts quickly and accurately.
- Purchase Orders: Creating purchases orders and managing order flow with a local packer.
- Shipping Documentation: Receive and check documentation for imports. Work with freight forwarder to ensure documents are accurate and lodged quickly.
- Planning: Regularly compare import schedules to key account forecasts, making adjustments as required. Generate shipping instructions for our overseas offices and ensure document requirements comply with government regulations.
- Stock Reconciliation: Provide monthly stock on hand.
- Domestic Sales: Create instructions for warehouses and liase with transport to arrange local delivery.
- Invoicing: Invoicing and costing for all shipments.

You will be organised, display initiative, have strong customer service skills and can effectively multi-task, communicate, negotiate and influence across all stakeholders. In addition, to be in contention for this fast paced and challenging opportunity you will possess:

- Knowledge and understanding of shipping processes and logistics
- Experience in the preparation of and working with import documentation including Phytosanitary Certificates and Bills of Lading
- Exposure to SAP or similar business systems
