The opportunity The SRO is seeking a skilled and experienced risk and corporate governance expert to join our busy and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a variety of risk and corporate governance activities throughout the organisation. If you have a strong background in risk and/or corporate governance, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring compliance and value for money outcomes, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and managing the Risk and Governance team to achieve high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration and integrity.
- Leading the strategic development and implementation of the organisation's risk management framework, including policies, procedures and practices consistent with the Victorian Government Risk Management framework.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing an active Business Continuity and Crisis Management program.
- Managing SRO's Audit programs including development, management and oversight of the Internal Audit Program and coordinating external audits, reviews and inquiries.
- Managing and ensuring that SRO's insurance coverage provides an appropriate level of coverage to support its business operations.

Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A proven record of achievement in a senior management role.
- Ability to implement performance management and development frameworks that manage staff performance, build organisational capability and support individual development.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written) to consult, negotiate and advocate with stakeholders and to meet stakeholder and customer needs.
