The People, Property and Security team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare by enabling, through strategic and effective frameworks, advice and processes, assisting the organisation to respond effectively to current and future business needs.
As part of the team, the Work Health and Safety Unit is responsible for maintaining safe and healthy workplaces within Comcare. The unit strives to be an exemplar in work health safety and injury management.
The Rehabilitation Case Officer provides advice and support on a number of injury management matters. This includes early intervention, effective and timely rehabilitation and injury management, (both compensable and non-compensable related matters), workers’ compensation claims submissions, and interpretation of departmental policies and procedures related to injury management.
The Rehabilitation Case Officer, working closely with the Rehabilitation Case Manager and the broader Work, Health and Safety Unit, will assist with the review and development of internal processes and policies and will work collaboratively across the organisation to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
