APS5 Communications Officer, on Salary with 15.4% super and Flexible work arrangements on offer.

**Your new company**
A Federal Government Department located in the South of Canberra is seeking a government experienced Communications Officer to join and support a small team on, programs and initiatives to create better services and standard for vulnerable people.

**Your new role**
Working with a supportive manager you will assist with:

- Strategic communication advice and services
- Strategic engagement planning and delivery
- Media services and speech writing
- Change management and communication, both internal and external
- Campaigns and market research services
- Corporate communication resources and services
- Content production and channel management.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll be a motivated high performing APS5, with relevant qualifications and a minimum 2 years within a similar role. Additionally, you’ll have the follow key attributes:

- Strong strategic communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sound judgment and an ability to work under pressure.
- An ability to form strong and productive working relationships.
- Be able to work as part of a small team, as well as across various project teams.
- Ability to learn new IT systems quickly and efficiently.
- Demonstrated personal drive and integrity while achieving results.
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing issues and activities
