Your opportunity:
Our Digital & Information group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital & Data Strategy Lead to join our newly established Digital Utility team.

Digital & Information is responsible for digitally enabling Urban Utilities today and digitally transforming future capability to enable provision of digital services to our customers, community and people. The group is accountable to formulate and execute Urban Utilities’ digital & data strategy, deliver Urban Utilities digital portfolio and provide day-to-day operations of information technology (IT), operating technology (OT), data, and the Internet of Things (IOT), including security, infrastructure management, system administration, network operations, and support services.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Digital Strategy & Planning, the Digital & Data Strategy Lead is
accountable for developing and implementing the digital and data strategy that aligns with Urban Utilities' strategic objectives. This role ensures that digital and data strategies are designed to meet the organization's goals, deliver value, and remain compliant with relevant regulations. The Digital & Data Strategy Lead will be instrumental in translating strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring robust governance, and fostering innovation within the digital landscape.

Success in this role will be measured by the effectiveness of the digital and data strategies in achieving Urban Utilities’ goals, managing risks, and optimizing value through innovative technology and planning. Key performance indicators will include the successful implementation of the digital strategy, compliance with regulatory requirements, the realization of strategic objectives, and stakeholder satisfaction.

About you:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, complimented by relevant industry knowledge and experience- Qualifications in digital strategy or data management (eg TOGAF, CIMP) are highly desirable- Extensive experience in digital and data strategy development and implementation.- Demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance in digital environments.- Strong knowledge of digital technologies, including IT, OT, data, and IOT domains.- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business requirements and influence policy and standards adoption- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams in the implementation of digital and data strategies
