**The Opportunity**

Our Sunshine Outlet is looking for a **Delivery Preparation Coordinator** to play a pivotal role in King Living's outlet’s operations, overseeing the critical stage between product readiness and successful customer delivery. The multifaceted position combines logístical coordination, quality control, and customer service to ensure that products are impeccably prepared and safely dispatched to customers.

**The Role**:

- Collaborate with the delivery scheduling team to plan and organise delivery routes, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely customer deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse, packaging, and logistics, to align efforts for seamless delivery preparation.
- Oversee the meticulous wrapping, packaging, and protection of furniture to safeguard against damage during transportation.
- Ensure that the correct items are selected for each delivery and that the inventory database is up to date.
- Act as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, changes, and special requests.
- Address customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving to provide exceptional service.
- Optimise delivery processes and procedures to minimise lead times, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to the delivery preparation workflow.
- Work with our Logistics Teams to ensure customer delivery costs are optimised without impacting customer service levels.
- Proactively identify and address any delivery challenges or issues, such as route deviations, inventory shortages.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, particularly in handling and transporting furniture items.
- Maintain a safe working environment and implement safety training programs for the delivery team.

- Proficient in using the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
