**ABOUT MASSON MANUFACTURING**

A division of Beacon Lighting Group, Masson Manufacturing is a growing business that manufactures and develops architectural lighting for commercial, retail & residential spaces. Our focus is on high quality manufacture, innovative product design and lighting solutions tailored to suit our customers' needs.

**THE ROLE**

In this role you will oversee day to day operations, cost control, product development with our design team and responsibility for overall profitability of the operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Workflow planning and scheduling
- Purchasing and working with suppliers to source suitable fabrication materials & LED components
- Product design using CAD
- Quoting custom product
- Site safety and security, including plant and equipment maintenance
- General administration such as submitting timesheets to payroll, reconciling and approving invoices, etc
- Leadership of the team and management of people issues (including recruiting and training new team members)

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

- Passion for design
- Background in lighting or similar discipline
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
- AutoCAD (2D) or equivalent, or general design experience
- Team management/supervision experience
- Basic knowledge of fabrication methods
- A current Forklift license (advantageous)
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and work with the team
