Business Support Team Leader

As a Business Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for accurate assessment and processing of participant fund requests and support the Manager to achieve Business Improvement and Quality Unit (BIQU) and Employment performance objectives.
SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, and you’ll be based in **Adelaide, South Australia.**

In this role, you will proactively supervise team members and provide support to ensure the quality performance are in line with all relevant Employment Services Contracts. Day
- to-day activities will include:

- Provide exceptional customer service to SYC team members in Employment Services Portfolio
- Lead and provide expert knowledge and training to team members
- Provide reports as required, including financial and/or team performance reports
- Liaise with the relevant ES Provider Lead or Contract Manager to clarify and resolve issues as required
- Provide high-level operational advice and practical support to employees
- Build viable long-term partnerships with internal stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with frontline employees and with Senior Managers

**About You**
- Previous experience in the Employment Services Industry
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of Government employment services, information systems, contract and compliance standards and KPI’s
- Proven capability in leading a successful driven team
- Experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
- Ability to manage and monitor outcomes, target, and budgets
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide variety of personalities

**For this role, you will need to**:

- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Bankruptcy Check
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Resident in accordance with government information security requirements.
- Prepared to work from, or be located at, any SYC site.
