**About the Role**:
The Cyber Security Team Leader is to support the Head of Cyber Security (HCS) in the workflow management for all Security Operations and Compliance activities within our team of five cyber security professionals.

The Team Leader has both responsibility leading and coordinating the triage and analysis of security events, ultimately, to identify potential Security Incidents in the environment, and in working with different areas of the organisation, to ensure that appropriate controls and standards are adhered to in support of a secure and compliant environment.

The Cyber Security Team Leader is responsible for frontline response to security incidents, including overseeing and/or developing the response strategy and ensuring the collection, processing, preservation, analysis and presentation of evidence in line with defined procedures.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Support the Head of Cyber Security in review of operational activities and prioritisation of team tasks.
- Provide direction to, mentoring and knowledge sharing with colleagues and junior members of the Cyber Security team.
- Drive individual staff development through the implementation of training plans and personal development goals.
- Contribute and assist with the development and maintenance of policies that encourage secure systems, operational practices and behaviours.
- Contributing to an ongoing Security Awareness program that ensures staff understand Cyber Security risks and understand their part in mitigating them.
- Contribute to the assessment and continuous improving of DA’s Cyber Security maturity.
- Proactively research and develop understanding of Cyber Security threats and potential impacts.
- Assist with development and continuous improvement of capabilities and processes that enable DA to effectively detect, respond and recover from Cyber Security incidents.
- Proactively understanding the regulatory and compliance landscape affecting Cyber Security including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), ASAE 3402 SOC1 Type II audit, ASAE3150 audit, APRA CPS234.

**What You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Information Systems, Computer Science) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- 5+ years in similar/relevant role(s).
- Experience with complex technology systems.
- Relevant certifications including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, MCP, MCSE, AWS Certified Security.
- Membership in ISACA or similar.
- Experience managing teams.
- Possess a motivating and proactive attitude, and a desire to still be 'on the tools' and be hands-on.
