**Your new company**
Open Arms is the leading provider of mental health services for veteran's and their families - they are a service founded by Vietnam war veterans which provide essential services to all veteran's and their families.
As an Australia wide team they provide face to face counselling, telephone based support and case management to individuals and their families through a combination of proven clinical practices and new evidence based approaches. They are now seeking a Clinical Allocator to join their Melbourne Team in a full-time capacity on a 12 month initial contract.

**Your new role**
In your role as a Clinical Allocator, you will be responsible for the following:

- Collaboratively manage the regional ‘allocation queue’ through liaison and consultation with Open Arms Clinicians, Outreach Program Counsellors (OPCs) and Clinical Support staff.
- Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of the Open Arms Outreach Program in the region.
- Develop, maintain, and manage a database of Open Arms contracted OPCs including keeping timely information on their availability.
- Provide high quality clinical services which may include crisis support (e.g. responding to walk in), counselling (maintain a small caseload of clients).
- Maintain clinical records according to Open Arms standards e.g. session notes, reports.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this position, you must hold the mandatory skills and experience as follows:

- Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration, OR
- AND
- Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance.
