About Coexistence QueenslandCoexistence Queensland is an independent statutory body which commenced operations on 1 July 2024. We exist to improve the sustainable coexistence of Queensland landholders, regional communities, and the resources and renewable energy industries.Our focus is on bringing our stakeholders together to work collaboratively, resolve issues and achieve balanced economic, environmental and socially responsible outcomes. This presents a wealth of opportunity for a professional who thrives being innovative and resourceful in an agile and dynamic environment.About the roleReporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant role will be responsible for providing an advanced level of executive and administrative support services to the CEO of Coexistence Queensland.In this exciting role, you will support the daily activities in the Office of the Chief Executive, and will coordinate and manage the workload priorities and commitments of the CEO.This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all members of Coexistence Queensland.How to applyTo be considered for this role, please provide the following information to the selection panel for assessment of your suitability:
- Your current resume, including two (2) recent referees with a thorough knowledge of your work performance and conduct within the previous two years.
- A short statement of no more than two (2) pages, outlining your suitability for this role by addressing the Assessment Criteria in the context of the duties described in 'What you will do' section. Shortlisting and selection will be based on this statement.
- Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
- Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of serious disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with section 182 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
