Position Summary
As Sales Manager - VIC, SA, WA, TAS you will lead Propic’s regional expansion across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia. This role is focused on acquiring new customers, accelerating revenue growth, and retaining strategic accounts. You will create, develop and oversee sales strategies, create and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs)/Account Managers, and spearhead initiatives to nurture and expand our existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a robust sales plan to drive market share and deliver on revenue targets in VIC, SA, WA, TAS.
- Identify new business opportunities, build strong sales pipelines, and collaborate with marketing to maximize lead generation.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with Propic’s growth and customer-first values.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of BDEs and Account Managers, guiding them to meet individual and team performance objectives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation, aligning with Propic’s core values.
- Provide coaching and professional development to elevate selling skills and product knowledge within the team.
3. Client Acquisition, Retention & Satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
- Continuously seek feedback, proactively address client concerns, and optimize solutions tailored to client needs.
- Champion the “Customer First - Always” philosophy by delivering value-driven sales and post-sales support.
4. Account Management & Upselling
- Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic accounts, overseeing service delivery and relationship health.
- Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of Propic’s products.
5. Market & Product Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within assigned territories.
- Share market insights with the product and marketing teams to help shape Propic’s go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Propic at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including revenue targets, pipeline progression, and client retention.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular performance updates.
- Leverage analytics to refine and improve sales initiatives and business strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of personal and team revenue targets.
- Client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction metrics.
- Growth in upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Performance, engagement, and professional development of BDEs and Account Managers.
- Market share expansion in the VIC, TAS, SA & WA regions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales and leadership preferably within real estate, Protech, SaaS, or a related sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, with experience managing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members to excel.
