* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or Management
- 5+ years of relevant experience in retail, operations, and/or business management, finance with a proven track record of delivering results
- 3+ years’ experience in negotiations and vendor management
- Act as the business owner for assigned categories/projects, possessing a complete understanding (inclusive of the strategic context) of internal and external variables that impact the business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the business, along with responsibility for driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives)
- Develop a thorough understanding f the customer needs, both existing and potential, the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor new developments.
- Manage vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, drive vendor performance improvement activities across both supply chain and marketing functions and negotiate marketing funds
- Maximize Amazon’s business profitability and selection expansion opportunities
- Manage and develop others in their growth at amazon
- Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines

- Act as the business owner for assigned categories/projects

- Create and execute business plans

- Data analysis i.e. understanding the development and drivers of key KPIs and develop corrective actions if needed and reporting of those
- Develop and drive actions plans for assigned category/projects
- Communication with suppliers and various internal stakeholders e.g. from supply chain, marketing and project management to drive projects

- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
- Influencing abilities and vendor management experience
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Expertise and experience in negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and/or product development
- Advanced experience with Excel, or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools (SQL is a plus)
- Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
- Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function
