**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Mercy Hospitals Victoria Ltd Learning Team is committed to providing quality education programs that support and sustain clinical excellence for our current and future workforce. The Lead Educator: Graduate Programs will work closely with the Learning Manager in leading and influencing quality education and professional development opportunities across the health care network.

- Grade 5 Nursing and Midwifery Lead Educator: Graduate Programs
- Key leadership position working across Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Expert clinical advisor for educational strategies relating to Graduate Nursing and Midwifery programs
- Develop and implement innovative learning programs for nursing and midwifery staff
- Work collaboratively with the Learning Manager and other Nursing and Midwifery Lead Educators to support clinical staff education and training (Undergraduate, Graduate and Post Graduate)
- Lead and influence the ongoing success of the Graduate, Nursing and Midwifery programs
**ABOUT YOU**:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA
- Post registration qualification in education required (or working towards)
- Experience in leadership and management including the ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team
- Advanced skills in educational design and implementation
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing and midwifery workforce challenges and practices
