**The Company**

An established independent federal government agency with a team of 50 people and a fantastic culture, this organisation is going through a time of growth and exciting projects, due to the recent change in government.

An organisation advising on policy and advice within one particular area, they make a huge impact given their relatively small size. Operating as a separate entity to government, with their own processes and approach, this is a fantastic role to learn and make a difference.

**The Role**

Reporting into an energetic and passionate Talent and HR leader, this temporary role will see you work closely across the TA and HR function of 5 people. Taking on responsibility for a low volume of roles (approximately 15 in a year), you will recruit roles across all levels including director level.

A strong focus on talent acquisition, due to the low volume nature of recruitment, this role will see you take on human resources duties, initiatives and projects across learning and development, rewards and recognition and other HR initiatives.

**The Duties**
- Responsible for building innovative sourcing strategies and identifying qualified professionals
- Participating in job briefings with business leaders to understand role requirements and discuss target talent pooling strategies.
- Advising and supporting managers on the recruitment process including drafting of position descriptions and creating interview guides.
- Work closely with wider team on a number of HR and People & Culture initiatives
