Healius provides quality healthcare services that are easily accessible and cost efficient, while supporting the coordination and continuity of quality patient care.- About the Role- The position is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the promotion of a culture of Quality Management and quality improvement processes throughout QML & TML Pathology through the implementation and maintenance of NATA/RCPA Accreditation Requirements.- Role Reponsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance of laboratory NATA/RCPA accreditations for all QML & TML Pathology laboratories
- Assist with the maintenance of continued Medicare Australia registration as Approved Pathology Laboratories.
- Assist with the maintenance of the quality procedures and processes throughout QML & TML
- Pathology
- Assist with the coordination of improvement projects
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system
- Participate in external audits as conducted by NATA.
- Review all outcomes from external audits to identify improvement opportunities- Review non-conformances to ensure their
effectiveness in improving the quality system
- Organise, perform and follow-up internal audits as directed by the Quality Manager
- Assist with the development and review of all relevant internal policy documents and procedure manuals and form- Effective communication with key stakeholders to promote the achievement of agreed objectives/KPIs related to proactive quality management in QML & TML Pathology is a key requirement for this role.- Skills and Qulificiations:
- Tertiary qualification in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- Background in Medical Laboratory Science Quality systems management experience**Benefits and Wellbeing**
