**Role**: Compliance Support Officer

**Location**: Murarrie, Brisbane

**Employment Type**: Permanent Part-time - 24 hours per week

Be the go-to guru for all things compliance

Provide expert guidance nationwide on the National Education & Care legislation and food safety standards. Manage the communication flow between Goodstart, regulatory authorities, and councils in a professional and timely manner.

**Your Impact**:
Team Participation

Attend Quality Department meetings as requested by the Quality Manager

Industry Knowledge

Stay updated on Education & Care legislation, food safety regulations, and building codes

Administration

Maintain accurate records and manage electronic documentation
Prepare internal communications regarding regulatory changes
Ensure timely payment of fees for licenses and audits

External Stakeholders Liaison

Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and government agencies
Coordinate with regulators for service approvals and compliance support
Respond to correspondence from regulatory authorities within specified timeframes

Internal Customer Liaison

Support team members within the quality department
Communicate regulatory requirements and expectations clearly to internal stakeholders
Provide guidance to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Review designs and plans to ensure compliance with standards
Assist in conducting internal audits and implementing corrective actions
Mentor and develop the knowledge of centre teams and other business units.

Desirable

A minimum 1-2 years administration experience in a large, multi-site, service-related organisation
