Play a pivotal role as Head of IT for G4S in Australia and New Zealand, driving the execution of technology-dependent systems. Ensure the smooth and effective management of our operations with a strong focus on transformation in technology-driven environments.
Collaborate with a diverse and matrixed team in APAC. Use your strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Drive transformation and change through the implementation of new technologies and systems to propel G4S forward

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee IT operations, ensuring the efficient and effective running of systems.
- Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Drive technology-dependent transformation projects, steering the business towards innovative solutions.
- Represent the broader IT organisation both globally and locally, effectively liaising with various stakeholders.
- Ensure the stability and integrity of critical systems, recognizing the significant business dependency on these systems.
- Drive and ensure implementation of Global IT Strategy
- Ensure great internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Achieve the IT Budget

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5+ years' experience in an IT leadership/management role, ideally with experience working in a global IT management position with ‘matrix' reporting line
- Understanding of technology-dependent systems and their critical role in business operations.
- Resilience in the face of change and transformation, with the ability to navigate complex business politics.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Able to operate strategically, delegate but also be willing to be hands-on.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail with a team mindset.
