Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a dedicated Manager, Information and Data to drive best-practice information management and ensure compliance with legislative requirements across the university.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Data Governance, you will play a key role in guiding the university’s transition to a digital records environment. Your expertise in digital information management, combined with experience handling enterprise information in large and diverse organizations, will help mitigate retention and disposal risks.

In this role, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels, taking responsibility for enhancing information management capabilities across business units. You will ensure that processes and systems align with legislative requirements while focusing on change delivery. By developing and implementing strategic initiatives, you will help the university navigate the challenges and opportunities of information transformation.

**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:

- Demonstrated experience in information management, project management, and change management
- Proven experience driving user adoption of new technologies
- Staff management experience and leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships and lead teams
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to understand and interpret standards, legislation and government policy, as well as provision of advice and consulting services on information management issues of a complex, critical and sensitive nature

**Qualifications**
- A degree in information management, information systems or a related discipline, and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline
