Seeking a Head of IT for that is available immediately for a contract opportunity with a view to go perm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all projects across technology
- Grow and develop the team which includes adding resources if the need arises.
- Drive the technology department in order to define the roadmap for the future.
- Management and ownership of IT projects and other IT initiatives
- Collaborate with management to determine the business priorities and develop plans that deliver the deliverables within the context of optimum solutions form an IT solution
- Prioritisation and management of projects and project portfolios.
- Motivate and drive the team to deliver desired outcomes through coaching and mentoring other members of the team
- Collaborate with external parties, including vendors, industry organisations and integration partners

**Experience required**:

- Technology Leadership experience within the Food/Agriculture/Farming industry.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and diagnose IT challenges.
- The ability to effectively communicate and translate technical terms to a non
- technical audience.
- Experience leading an IT operation in a SME, high growth environment
- Flexibility in approach.
- Experience in IT strategic planning and execution.
- Considerable knowledge of commercial management, budgeting and business operations.
- Supplier Planning, SAP. Building materials etc
- Warehouse management system, farming system, Planning system
Proven experience in IT planning, organisation, and development.
- Ability to negotiate, consult and influence diverse stakeholders
- Hands on approach
