**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for an **Executive Advisor - Simulation and Decision Science **to join our team with a focus on developing complex models, building opportunities and client relationships.

We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a team that values diverse perspectives and collaboration.

This strategic role will embrace flexible, hybrid and family friendly work arrangements and can be appointed on either a **part-time **or **full-time **basis. This role can be located in **Brisbane **, **Melbourne **, **Sydney **or **Perth **.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Growing and maintaining client relationships to build opportunities and the pipeline.
- Providing technical direction and input on major tenders/bids or proactive client proposals.
- Assessing market trends and identify future market opportunities and convert into future projects.
- Leveraging internal and external relationships and lead effective business development activities aligned to the business plan.
- Promoting GHD's integrated service offering and develop new service offerings which enhance outcomes for existing clients, secure new clients and build GHD's market share and reputation for client service excellence.
- Effective client engagement and actively contribute to thought leadership to cement GHD's position as a trusted advisor and industry leader.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, and technical specialists, to deliver integrated and comprehensive client solutions
- Providing technical guidance and expertise to projects and initiatives.
- Overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.Mentoring and coaching junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and client service.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Degree Qualification either in Mathematics and Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline. Post graduate qualifications will be highly desirable
- Strong proficiency in at least one of the following:

- Discrete event simulation software: AnyLogic (required), Salabim, Simply
- Programming languages: Python (required), R, MATLAB, Java, SQL, VBA
- Data visualisation software: Power BI, Tableau, R Shiny, Dash
- MS Excel skills to macro and Visual Basic level
- Experience synthesizing complex analytics, developing easy to interpret reports and dashboards that evaluate performance and influence strategic decisions
- Strong project management and communication skills; bias for action
- Deep understanding of business operational models in a variety of infrastructure environments
- Consultancy experience; High-level client relationship management skills coupled with the ability to identify and drive new pursuits and develop new businessAn ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a virtual office environment with team members globally
