**Location: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne**
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Responsibilities include installation, configuration and administration of Tableau Server.
- Responsible for maintaining all existing environments that includes code deployment, monitoring, user access and setting up security for the business users to the environments.
**Job Details**:
- Responsible for end-to-end installation, configuration and maintenance of Tableau server environments.
- Additional responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of existing environments.
- Partner with engineering leads and architects in handling administrative tasks.
- Code migrations on a regular basis.
- Identify, define and implement best practices for administration.
**Requirements**:
- Must have worked as a Tableau Administrator (5 years solid experience in Tableau Administration with LINUX environment is a must)
- Administer and support a multitier Tableau infrastructure including upgrade analysis and planning, security administration, release management, troubleshooting, performance tuning, SSO Implementation, Mobile deployment and general systems maintenance
- Manage the users, groups, licenses and integration with Active Directory, taking care of Authorization and permissions
- Experienced in Admin functions related to data sources and extracts, Schedules, tasks, and subscriptions, Upgrades, Monitoring server status
- Collaborate with end users, project stakeholders and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models
- Assess the current state & identify opportunities for improvement and best practice recommendations
- Experiment with new features and enhancements released by Tableau, and bring them into the platform & organization
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate & work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate &meet deliverables.
- Must be a team player with strong inter-personal skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with mínimal supervision. Must have the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation & documentation skills to foster clarity and predictability. Must be able to effectively communicate with people at different levels including customers, vendors, management, technical stake holders, developers etc.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
