**About the Role**

In collaboration with the General Manager and Stakeholder Relations & Policy leadership team, the role contributes to the development of the Stakeholder Relations & Policy business plan.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Head of Stakeholder Engagement,** you will:

- Support the General Manager Stakeholder Relations & Policy in the creation and implementation of icare’s Stakeholder Relations strategy.
- Develop and implement communication and stakeholder management plans, aligned with icare’s Stakeholder Relations strategy, in order to positively influence outcomes for icare. Foster an Agile culture within the team.
- Harness the communications community of practice to develop and deliver integrated communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Lead and direct Stakeholder Engagement activity across icare for a subset of icare stakeholders, fostering positive and constructive relationships.

**Skills & Experience**
- 8+ years’ experience in corporate relations or communications within a government, insurance, corporate or commercially driven public sector environment
- Well-developed understanding of stakeholder management frameworks
- Extensive and seasoned expertise in corporate communications
- Extensive experience building rapport and influence at all levels of an organisation
- Experience in balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
- Seasoned experience in dealing with industry bodies
