We have an exciting opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our Sydney Team.

This role will partner with the business to maintain and extend Mirvac’s position as a trusted partner to governments and communities around the country. It presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to unlocking and delivering large and complex urban renewal projects underpinned by our purpose to ‘reimagine urban life’.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Work with projects teams across Mirvac to provide end-to-end, strategic stakeholder relations and community engagement advice across projects nationally, spanning our residential, commercial, industrial, build-to-rent and mixed portfolio.

You will be an important partner to the business and help contribute to positive project delivery outcomes.

Take the lead on complex development projects to devise and implement clear and measurable stakeholder engagement plans, working closely with project teams to ensure governance and coordination of engagement with government

Assess regulatory and political risk to pre-empt and manage project stakeholder issues

Work closely with media relations on significant project or asset issues management such as project delays, disposals and community opposition

Capturing and reporting on high stakeholder / reputational risk projects and developing clear action plans via the Priority Projects Radar

Managing the delivery of initiatives to build stakeholder engagement capacity and skills across our business units, including workshops and training.

Partnering with experts across the business develop and coordinate industry and government submissions nationally

Ensuring internal stakeholders including the Leadership Team are kept up to date on policy developments, risks and opportunities and related positions

Building strong internal and external relationships

Working closely with the media relations team to deliver high quality events such as sod turns, topping out ceremonies etc that extend our reputation with key stakeholders

Developing high quality presentations, briefing notes, speaking notes and corporate materials for government stakeholders and industry events

Support with the implementation of national and state cross-business government and stakeholder plans including participation in State Government Project Control Groups

Working across all business units, you will engage with a variety of stakeholders and juggle priorities across multiple projects.

Within an inclusive and collaborative team culture, you will work closely with the broader Stakeholder Relations and Customer team to actively protect and extend Mirvac’s brand and reputation.

Your point of difference

You will have experience in a corporate environment in the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and will have experience crafting internal and external communications.

Understanding the complexities of stakeholder environments and legislative processes relating to property, infrastructure, or other land-use projects is critical for this role.

Additionally, you will have exposure to work in the field of public affairs, policy, government relations, advocacy or similar.

Finally, you will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to work on multiple complex projects with tight deadlines.
