Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our Sydney Team. This role will partner with the business to maintain and extend Mirvac’s position as a trusted partner to governments and communities around the country in an issues rich policy environment.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Working with project teams across Mirvac to provide end-to-end, strategic stakeholder relations and community engagement advice across projects nationally, spanning our residential, commercial, industrial, build-to-rent and mixed portfolio.
You will be an important partner to the business and help contribute to positive project delivery outcomes.
Within an inclusive and collaborative team culture, you will work closely with the broader Stakeholder Relations and Customer team to actively protect and extend Mirvac’s brand and reputation.
Take the lead on standard development projects & operational assets to develop and implement clear and measurable stakeholder engagement plans, working closely with project teams to ensure governance and coordination of engagement with government
Support in assessing regulatory and political risk, pre-empting and managing project stakeholder issues
Assist in establishment of internal reporting framework and oversee ongoing management of the Priority Projects Radar
Create a stakeholder database to enable accurate analysis of engagement with key stakeholders
Create and manage the Stakeholder Engagement Hub and toolkit as well as support workshops and training initiatives to help build stakeholder engagement capacity and skills across our business units
Participate in State Government Project Control Groups and support implementation of government cross-business plans
Build strong internal and external relationships
Work closely with the media relations team to deliver high quality events such as sod turns, topping out ceremonies etc that extend our reputation with key stakeholders

Assist in development of high-quality presentations, briefing notes, speaking notes and corporate materials for government stakeholders and industry events

Your point of difference

You will have the ability to work with different teams on a variety of projects across a diverse business.

Preferably, you will have experience working in corporate affairs or stakeholder relations in a listed property company environment.

Finally, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will be adaptable to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
