**About the Position**

**We are looking to welcome a** Program Coordinator **to lead the Assessment and Service Connect (ASC) program in the Gold Coast region. The ASC is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary approach developed as a new way of working between Child Safety Services, other government agencies and the non-government sector.**

- **Level 7 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $115,066 - $119,872 + Super.****:

- **Government funded until 30 June 2025 with possible extension.***

**_Key Responsibilities:_**

- **Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.****:

- **Actively participate in activities including meetings of ASC members and key stakeholders.****:

- **Provide expert opinion, advice, assessments and consultation on referrals, processes and service connections.****:

- **Respond as part of the ASC team on referrals.**

**About You**

***:

- **A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (social work, human services).****:

- **At least 5 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five years’ experience working in similar roles.****:

- **Ability to lead and build a strong, cohesive team in alignment with Act for Kids’ values.****:

- **Demonstrated specialist skills in at least one of the following areas drug and alcohol, mental health, domestic & family violence, child development.***
