**The role**

This Government Department is seeking a HR / Payroll Officers to provide high quality operational HR and Payroll services to a designated client group in a busy deadline driven environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high quality, customer-centric HR services
- Transact employee movements (ie onboarding, offboard, leave absences, temporary assignments)
- Maintain and update processes, data, information and systems to support delivery HR services in line with all audits, data integrity and privacy requirements
- Maintain employee payroll records and process payments, allowances and deductions
- Manage recruitment documentation including contracts and letters of offer
- Prepare reports, and correspondence relating to HR issues as required

**Required**
- Experience providing HR and Payroll services
- Working knowledge in Government sector - highly regarded
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to start ASAP
