HR & Payroll Officer

Seeking an HR & Payroll Officer to support a new business with the set-up of their HR function
**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading empty container park specialist in Asia Pacific and has been operating in the container industry for more than 20 years with considerable expertise in container services, transportation and freight forwarding. Their new site is the first strategic location in our expansion project in Australia, and they are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Officer to support the start-up based in Laverton North.
**Your new role**
Recruitment and onboarding of new staff
HR related paperwork including contracts of employment, maintenance of personnel files and
Standalone point of contact for any HR related queries
Support with the set up of all HR related policies and procedures
General office management, for example, ordering of uniforms, safety equipment, stationary, etc.
Collate and process the weekly payroll
**What you'll need to succeed**
Previous experience in an HR/payroll related role
Previous experience in a greenfield HR role would be highly advantageous
Experience with Xero would be highly desirable
Sound knowledge of Australian employment law and legislation
Excellent stakeholder management skill
Ability to work autonomously
**What you'll get in return**
Salary $80-90k+super
Hybrid working (50/50)
