**Compliance Specialist - Full Time Permanent Opportunity**
Red Energy is owned by the Mighty Snowy Hydro, making us 100% Australian owned and operated. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and engage the business on compliance matters, reinforcing the importance of shared ownership and driving the businesses commitment to a culture of compliance
- Develop and implement process changes arising from new compliance obligations balancing compliance and the customer experience
- Maintain regular and deliberate communication with internal customers to enhance understanding of their goals and priorities
- Develop external customer relationships that best position Red Energy to achieve its objectives
- Proactively scan for regulatory changes, accounting for industry movements, potential risks and the desired positioning of the retail business
- Report to the CEO, Board and other relevant stakeholders the details of process improvements and subsequent performance against benchmarks
- Relevant qualification (e.g. law degree or similar)
- Significant and senior level compliance and complaints function exposure
- Operating in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the retail energy industry
- Representing organisations at government and industry forums
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities and confident communication style
- The ability to adapt to an ever changing industry and environment
