**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Manager, Compliance Review, the Compliance Specialist is a senior team member of the Governance & Accountability team supporting all business departments within the Member Domain.

The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in reviewing materials produced from across various areas of the business and will also be responsible for supporting and mentoring their compliance colleagues to ensure the output of consistent and quality compliance outcomes.

We are looking for someone collaborative to work alongside our colleagues in marketing, communications and product to help strike the balance between meeting the regulatory requirements and producing content that helps the Fund grow its member base and keep existing members well informed.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Provide day-to-day compliance reviews, assessments, feedback and signoffs as required for the Member Domain business areas including reviewing a range of marketing assets, communications and other collateral. These reviews will also include mandatory product related documentation such as Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs), Incorporation by Reference (IBRs), Target Market Determinations (TMD) and Significant Event Notices (SENs).
- Support and mentor less experienced team members.
- Adhere to internal business rules and complete required compliance checklists as relevant to the materials being reviewed.
- Keep relevant registers up-to-date and ensure all documentation is kept in accordance with record-keeping procedures.

**What You’ll Need
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or within superannuation, compliance, marketing or communications.
- Experience reviewing and assessing materials to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulatory guidance.
- Experience analysing, assessing, and implementing changes in legislation and regulatory guidance.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor less experienced team members.
- Experience developing and maintaining high quality interpersonal relationships with stakeholders at all levels..
- Knowledge of financial services, privacy, and consumer protection laws would be desirable.
