**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Training and Compliance Specialist position will be a part of the readiness team managing the transition of the Operational and Control Management Systems (OCMS) and new signalling technology components of the Metro Tunnel Project into MTM’s rail services operation.
The Training Compliance Specialist will perform the analysis and verification of technical maintenance and support roles required to perform the maintenance of new and updated technologies being implemented as part of the Metro Tunnel Project.
The Training Compliance Specialist will work collaboratively with the Rail Network Alliance to perform a training and compliance gap analysis and develop pathways to bring the current technical workforce to the required levels.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for collaborating with the Rail Network Alliance to perform a training and competency gap analysis and develop pathways to bring the current technical workforce to the required levels.
- Responsible for review and update of the current competency framework and role requirements.
- Responsible for researching and developing updated role competency requirements.
- Develop short training courses from maintenance materials.
- Deliver short training course to small groups.
- Manage the recording of companies in MTM systems.
- Develop, manage delivery and review progress against plans to ensure they are on schedule and take effective remedial action as required.
- Gather technical and process information and analyse to determine solutions and make recommendations.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or other relevant qualifications in Learning and Development will be advantageous.
- Demonstrable practical experience in the development of training plans, skills compliance and short course delivery.
- Able to work with engineering and technical expert to develop training compliance regimes.
- Able to work across differing pressures and navigate an agreed outcome.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational and work management skills, in particular the ability to meet objectives and produce deliverables within agreed timelines.
