Are you a go-getter passionate and experienced when it comes to all things marketing and events? An exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join the Adelaide Public Sector & LCIS (Local Community Insurance) team has arisen.

Reporting to the Marketing Executive, in this role, you will have hands-on responsibility for the coordination and execution of marketing and event activity for both the Public Sector & LCIS businesses, including:
Assist with the execution and development of marketing, communication, strategy and tactics, marketing collateral and program implementation;
- Develop marketing and communications assets with the guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain up-to-date content on multiple channels and websites.
- Maintain our content plans and capture outcomes of team discussions.
- Help develop digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Manage team administration, invoicing, obtaining quotes, travel and expense management and business marketing and comms requests.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and branding guidelines, including stewardship of marketing material through legal and brand approvals.
- Experience liaising with external contractors and agencies, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and advertising agencies, to deliver marketing activities.
- Coordinate and manage annual training and events cycle and sponsorship agreements.
- Running F2F, virtual, internal and external events and conferences (including bump in and bump out and from time to time these may occur outside standard business hours).
- Sourcing venues, contractors, equipment and other suppliers for events.
- Working with facilitators and staff to ensure events run smoothly.
- Coordinate event and training programs promotion, registration, collateral, and branding aspects.
- Coordinating attendance at trade shows and industry events to ensure these are used to best effect and manage a positive flow of information to all involved.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A strong understanding of events, marketing, digital, and communication principles.
- Experience in a marketing and event planning role, ideally within a service industry.
- Excellent proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Highly developed written communication skills with experience in producing content for newsletters/publications.
- Experience with CMS websites and EDM platforms.
- Understanding and experience in PPC advertising, SEO and Google analytics will be an advantage.
- Ability to carry out at-hoc graphic design using Canva.
- Manage your time well, knowing your deadlines and how to prioritise, organise and project manage.
- Be curious; about the industry, the areas we have expertise in, marketing and communication trends and ideas, and bring this into the work you deliver in the form of ideas and new angles.
