**The Team**
Our national Brands, Markets and Comms team sits within the broader Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison and is a high performing and critical component of the law firm and essential to the firm's success. The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.
This part time role is responsible for managing and implementing MinterEllison's client events in line with the firm's Client Market Growth (CMG) strategy and working as a member of the Brand Markets and Communications team in the delivery of the firm's industry based marketing initiatives.
MinterEllison organise and host digital and in-person events for clients of the firm. Events might be small or large, sponsorship activations, seminars/webinars, lunches and dinners.
**Your Role**
This position is part time, 3 days a week - the days are flexible of your choosing between Monday and Friday.
As a Marketing and Events Coordinator in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks such as:
- Event coordination
- Developing and coordinating a calendar of events at a National and State level
- Work with relevant stakeholders regarding objectives and measures of success
- Coordinating all aspects of end-to-end event organisation: logistics, communications and stakeholders
- Event debrief reports to relevant partners and CMG team
- Ensuring event processes and protocols are followed
- Event budget management
- Provide sponsorship support.
- Multi-media
- Content creation using basic set up for social media
- Liaison with internal design team on graphics
- Basic editing of content.
- Marketing support to Industry groups
- List coordination
- Assist with editing communications/articles for client comms
- Research and gather industry intel for marketing programs
- Assist with the development of marketing plans/campaigns
- Contributing ideas and support on website presence and other digital opportunities.
- Firm wide initiatives
- Support on small to large firm-wide initiatives/events/communications/sponsorships.
**More About You**
We welcome applicants who have:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations or event management, or suitable relevant experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in event management in a high volume, corporate environment
- Excellent planning and time management skills, including an ability to handle conflicting deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Manage conflicting requests where required and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure a high quality of service is provided
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- An ability to work autonomously to get the job done, smoothly and with style
