About the role
The EIM Business Strategist is responsible for delivering business consulting projects that involve strategy development, organisational restructuring, and management improvement to maximise efficiencies for the Intelligent Workspace Team at Datacom.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and advisory to customers on best practice information management including modern approaches to managing information using technologies such as the Microsoft 365 platform and other leading Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS).
What you'll do
**As the EIM Business Strategist you will be responsible for**:
Pre-Sales
- Responding to RFT, RFPs and developing detailed statements of work
- Professional services and project estimation
- Presentations, demonstrations and developing proof of concepts.
Consulting and Advisory
- Working with C level executives to determine long-term enterprise information management strategies
- Be viewed by our customers as a trusted advisor
- Analysing customers functional and technical business requirements to make recommendations
- Lead and contribute to the design of information management solutions; including the Microsoft 365 Platform, AvePoint and leading EDRMS
- Designing and developing tools such as information architecture/business classification schemes, security matrix, metadata schemas, retention and disposal authorities etc.
- Design governance frameworks to support information management practices
- A demonstrated depth and breadth of information management principles
- Demonstrated consulting experience across multiple industry sectors
- Ability to work on complex issues where analysis and in-depth evaluation of variable factors is considered
- Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Ability to adhere to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements and escalate as required
- Proven negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties
- Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Strong influencing and persuasive ability
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information across various levels.
Project Delivery
- Deliver projects following standard project management methodologies.
