**Position Summary**
The Assessment Support Officer works at Peninsula Regional Assessment Service (RAS) which is auspiced under Peninsula Health and closely coordinates with the Administration and Senior Clinician Team at the Mt. Eliza Aged Care Assessment Service (MEACAS). The position is integral to providing effective and timely administrative and clerical support to the RAS team to ensure that the day-to-day function of the service is maintained. The Assessment Support Officer will use the range of clerical systems such as My Aged Care as well as key systems within Peninsula Health.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a first point of contact for Peninsula RAS, demonstrating a professional and sensitive response.
- Ensure that client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Confidently and effectively utilise the range of electronic operating systems for Peninsula RAS, including My Aged Care.
- Support the RAS team in the range of clerical and administrative tasks
- Provide information as required to the MEACAS/RAS Manager
**Essential Criteria**
- Able to operate proficiently across a range of information systems (Health systems preferably)
- Experience in the Aged and/or Disability Sector in a Human Service environment
- Highly effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet daily KPI’s, working in a high-paced environment and manage competing demands within limited timeframes.
- Flexibility to work from home and office to meet competing demands
- Able to operate the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel and Outlook essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including excellent and sensitive telephone manner
- Ability to work unsupervised in a confidential manner
- Ability to identify and prioritise competing demands and problem-solve
- Current Victorian Driver's License
