**About the role**:
**Duties include**:

- Resolve customer phone and online enquiries;
- Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders;
- Assess, research, document and resolve customer requests regarding tree and vegetation removal;
- Carry out duties under the State Environmental Planning Policy, EP&A Act & Local Government Act;
- Prepare statement of evidence, affidavits and appear in Court as an expert witness;
- Prepare statement of basic facts and contentions and briefs of evidence.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1.Tertiary qualifications in Arboriculture/Horticulture and/or similar related field;
3.Working knowledge of the Local Government Act, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Tree (Dispute Between Neighbours) Act, Protection of the Environmental Operations Act, Biodiversity Conservation Act & related legislation;
4.Experience in dealing with customers, with an ability to deal with and solve protracted enquiries;
5.Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and proven record in meeting strict deadlines, balancing and responding flexibly to competing priorities;
6.Well-developed interpersonal, communication, documentation and conflict resolution skills;
7.Class C Motor Vehicle Licence.
