**About the Role**

A 3 - 6 month’s temporary opportunity has become available for an Asset Information Officer who will work under the direction of the Asset Information Manager assisting with the implementation of various projects.

**Responsibilitie**s **(but not limited to)**
- spatial auditing and updates
- create floor plans and upload into CAD/GIS systems
- auditing existing areas with known backlog changes
- updating floor plans
- updating space numbers that do not comply with current standards
- incorporate changes from capital projects and push out updates to floor plans and GIS Systems
- develop a repository, collection tool and report/dashboards/maps for Significant Trees/Vegetation
- develop an interactive map displaying Fire Tracks and Bushfire Zones
- develop a repository, collection tool and report/dashboards/maps for a public facing “points of interest” map i.e. artwork, services, security locations, etc.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field or discipline.
- A highly developed understanding of data frameworks and workflows for the creation and maintenance of asset management systems
- Demonstrated skills in reviewing, checking and analysing data with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated understanding of all functions associated with asset management systems, GIS, CAD and BIM systems.
- Demonstrated ability in mapping data in a graphical form for consumption by a range of stakeholders.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all organisational levels and with external contractors.
- A high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Broad understanding of the principles and standards of asset management.
