**Public Sector People** are working with a number of government organisations within Southeast Queensland.

We have multiple roles available in the Logan and South Brisbane Areas.

We are looking for an Experienced Workers Comp Claims / and Return to work officer to work with our Client in a 12 Month Contract position.

This role will be full time, 5 days per week. There will be ongoing training and development within the role.

Flexible working is welcomed once trained.

The role will be fast paced,

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**
- Assist with injured/ill workers, managers, supervisors, medical and allied health providers for the best stay at work or return to work outcome.
- Provide support to management and coordinate external services (if required) for modifications required to the work environment for suitable stay at work and return to work outcomes.
- Attend Case Management Teams where the Stay at Work and Return to Work Advisor is unable to attend.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the People and Culture Branch on the management of overlapping issues relating to stay at work and return to work processes.
- Maintain case notes for stay at work or return to work plans that are factual, up-to-date, comprehensive and free of opinions or irrelevant matters

**About you**:

- Cert IV in Health and Safety or demonstrated work experience in relation to workers’ compensation and return to work. Experience in a self-insurance environment will be favorably considered.
- Previous Experience within Insurance is a bonus
- Attention to Detail
- Able to work with Multiple Stakeholders
