Claims Consultant - Brisbane CBD - Contract Full Time - August Start - Hybrid working - Training provided

**Your new company**
Our client is a well recognised and established insurance organisation, who are seeking for multiple Claims Consultants to join their growing team. This position is full-time temporary for 6 months with the opportunity for extension or permanency. It will be Monday to Friday with a total of 37.5 hrs offering working from home flexibility.

Please note, you must have indefinite working rights in Australia for this position.

**Your new role**

Reporting directly to the team lead, you will be responsible for the following:

- Manage claims from lodgement through to finalisation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of claims
- Support the claims process by performing coverage evaluations and basic investigatory tasks
- Provide assistance to team members and identify opportunities for process improvement

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working in an inbound/outbound call centre environment is desirable
- You will have strong attention to detail, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a passion for helping people
- You will have previous experience handling and managing claims ideally
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a cooperative, team environment
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel with demonstrated ability to touch type
