We currently provide 24/7 support across Croydon Park, Mansfield Park, Elizabeth, Edwardstown, and Murray Bridge.
**About the role**
- Position title: Client Service Officer
- Reports to (position): Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and/or Director
- Location: South Australia
- Primary Purpose of the Position: The Client Service Officer will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. This position works closely with Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and/or Director and a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality services tailored to clients' needs. The role also requires building strong relationships with clients and families to ensure a person-cantered approach.
**Specific Accountabilities**
The primary role is to assist Service Coordinator and Service Manager to manage the services that the company is providing to the participants.
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, providing information and assistance in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and support workers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Communicate with family and clients relating to specific support tasks such as travel routines, care routines, and etc.
- Monitor service delivery and follow up on client feedback or concerns.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, reporting, and document management.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and NDIS regulations.
- Willing to fill in roster in some urgent matters
- Support staff in completing their tasks
- Visit work sites
- Provide quotation and invoice for services
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address the needs of clients
- Attend meetings with internal and external partners
- Perform other tasks instructed by Service Coordinator, Service Manager and Director
**Essential criteria**
- Diploma of Disability/Social Work/Community Service or equivalent
- Valid NIDS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in disability services in a similar role.
- Experience in mentoring or leading a team.
- Experience in building a team to deliver high quality customer services
- Have multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
- Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office suite and learn multiple databases.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to deal with a wide range of customers
- Experience meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English and verbal Vietnamese preferable
