- SC1. Demonstrated capacity to lead teams, including the capacity for directing the work of others. SC2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in respect to human resource and financial management records systems. SC3. Sound knowledge of financial management legal requirements and practices, including the capacity to produce reports and provide advice in respect to those reports. SC4. High level organizational skills, including the capacity to prioritise work flows. SC5. High level written and verbal communication skills.

**Role**:

- 38 hours a week fulltime position.
- Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
- Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
- An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Location Profile**:

- Topirum Primary School is a new school which opened in 2024. The school is located in the Smiths Lane estate, Clyde North, in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
- The school facilities include: an administration and library building; 2 learning neighborhoods; a community hub with indoor multi-use court; canteen; arts/music spaces; hard courts; a sports field and staff car park. From 2025, modern portables are also used for classrooms. Students have great learning areas with air conditioning and heating. Outside, they have shade sails for sun protection. The school is designed to be environmentally sustainable.
- A Topirum Primary School Kindergarten opened in 2025 and is located on the school site. A before and after school service is operated by DS Sports.
