**The Opportunity**

Reporting directly to the recently appointed Chief People & Culture Officer, two opportunities now exist to join this small HR team, supporting the School and its people to meet its business objectives. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and passion for reward and remuneration and/or employee relations, and be a trusted adviser, supporting and coaching leaders and staff across the employee life-cycle. You will support business transformation as well as operational effectiveness and be equipped for the depth and diversity this truly generalist HR role offers. In addition, you will develop and deliver quality solutions and initiatives to drive capability and organisational development, high performance and employee engagement.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

- Offering expert advice on industrial and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Coaching and providing feedback to assist managers in addressing HR issues and fostering development.
- Management of the annual performance review and salary review processes
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
- Conducting comprehensive workplace investigations and providing recommendations and support when needed.
- Managing and coordinating the implementation of effective organisational change in line with legislative requirements.
- Analysis of HR data to identify trends and develop recommendations for improvement and for contribution to reports and score-cards.
- Continuous improvement of and further development of the School’s HR systems, policies and processes.
- Review staff information and induction processes regularly for legislative and compliance changes
- Involvement in various HR related projects as required.

**To thrive in this role, you will be able to demonstrate**:

- Substantial experience in an HR/IR role with experience in employee relations and managing complex cases, including disciplinary procedures, investigations, and grievance resolution.
- Experience conducting job evaluations/job sizing to identify appropriate remuneration based on industry benchmarking
- Experience using using Mercer/Hays or similar tool methodologies
- Qualifications in HRM or Industrial Relations.
- Relevant experience in HR Business Partnering, demonstrating the ability to build effective relationships and engage with employees at all levels.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise your tasks and meet necessary deadlines.
- Ability to take a data led approach and relate commercial and people insights to help inform decision making
- Excellent judgement combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation with a proven track record of delivery, collaboration and influence and resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability
- Responding to and shaping HR solutions with agility and pragmatism
