**Your new role**

Based in the northern suburbs, this will be a great 6-month opportunity that is not to be missed, especially for those who are either immediately available and/or could undergo a quick transition. Your duties will include, but not be limited to;
- The planner will be responsible for specific manufacturing areas. Liaising frequently with Logistics, Quality, Engineering and Purchasing in order to maintain the validity of the production plan and help ensure the achievement of agreed product delivery dates.
- Review MRP system action messages on a daily basis and action as appropriate
- Respond to ETA requests from Customer Support
- Establish critical item shortage plan to help achieve customer order fulfilment
- Identifies opportunities for improvement of work practices and processes
- Review “root cause” information and make changes where necessary- Distress stock management/expediting- Establish regular communication with supplier network- Work with suppliers to ensure service levels will be maintained- Highlight any service issues with relevant managers
