**About the Role**

Springfield Doctors is seeking a proactive and experienced Office Managerto lead the day-to-day operations of our busy, patient-focused medical centre. This position is ideal for someone with proven leadership in healthcare administration and a passion for delivering high-quality patient service and clinical support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff, including rosters, HR duties, and team development.
- Oversee Medicare, private billing, and WorkCover claims, ensuring compliance with MBS and RACGP standards.
- Track financial performance including invoicing, purchasing, and budget management.
- Facilitate effective communication between GPs, nurses, allied health, and external service providers.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain accreditation standards.
- Ensure efficient use and maintenance of EMR systems (e.g., Best Practice or MedicalDirector).
- Manage patient communication, including recalls, reminders, and feedback systems.
- Coordinate health assessments, chronic disease programs, and practice marketing efforts.

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar practice or clinic management role.
- Working knowledge of Medicare billing, MBS codes, and private insurance claims.
- Experience using clinical software such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector, or Zedmed.
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of RACGP Accreditation Standards is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organisational skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
