Enjoy providing strategic advice to the Technology portfolio delivery teams to establish priorities, and estimate resources and timelines?

As our new ICT Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for the effectiveness of RACQ Technology Project Portfolio investment through the implementation and maintenance of Technology’s Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) Framework and governance that actively monitors and provides direction to key stakeholders.

You will be able to drive development, management, and training of the SDLC Framework and the associated activities, and for ensuring the supporting tools, processes and templates used are good practice and fit for purpose.

The role will also provide direction on an appropriate portfolio delivery environment for all Technology portfolio delivery teams, including facilitating and guiding the delivery of cost effective, quality technology solutions consistent with established standards, templates, products, and methods and thereby supporting the strategic direction of the RACQ Group.

Key responsibilities include;
- Lead by example to partner, collaborate and work closely with key stakeholders on project portfolio specific solutions and services.
- Foster and drive an environment of continuous improvement and innovation and inspire employees to develop innovative solutions to improving processes, products, and service.
- Lead the business in the analysis and determination of effective delivery strategies for the appropriate resolution of business
- Responsible for aligning PMO, Project Delivery, Audit, and internal delivery partners frameworks, controls and assurance activities into Technology’s Project Portfolio SDLC framework, to manage the performance of the Technology Delivery Portfolio.
- Develop and implement (in partnership with L&D) suitable training curriculum that ensures a high level of understanding and capability in relation to Technology’s SDLC framework, governance, tools, and methodologies.

Key skills & experience;
- Extensive experience leading project delivery teams
- Previous experience planning, designing, and delivering technology solutions in a large integrated environment
- Demonstrated skills and experience in portfolio, project, assurance, project delivery specialist roles within Technology portfolio delivery environment.
- Demonstrated high level of skill in communicating with the business, management, end-users, and technology personal
- Demonstrated skills in developing clear objectives and establishing work priorities and timeframes
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of portfolio, project, SLDC, and assurance management methodologies and lifecycle.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise data and information and understanding of value management principles / financial impact analysis / total cost of ownership assessment.
- Extensive, advanced experience using Excel, project management tools and systems, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira
